The 45th Final of the Jeux du Québec in Gatineau

From July 29th till August 6th, 2010, Gatineau accepts in big on the occasion of the 45th Final of the Jeux du Québec, summer, 2010. About 4 000 young athletes of everywhere in Quebec will participate in this big sports gathering in the 17 disciplines in program.

Competitions, which will take place in the five areas of the city, are approachable to all free. It is opportunity dreamed to discover this nice region, while encouraging the sports youth of Quebec. In summer, 2010, come I too to celebrate the excellence in Gatineau.

The Jeux du Québec are a multiple-subject sports program centered on competition in the sense of the four elements of sports practice (introduction, recess, competition and of high level). The program with a regional shutter and a national shutter is one of the means that favors the development of the athlete.

Regional Games aim at the participation of the biggest number of athletes and sports and Final aims at the progression of the athlete towards the excellence.

Competition
This sphere implicates the existence of a network of competitions and group of modalities of organization and functioning governed by a sports confederation.

Introduction
This element is linked up with a process of study. This process could have a culmination towards a first competition as part of the Games of Quebec. They could develop the concept of my « First Games » there.

Recreation
This element contacts church-goers predominantly grown-up who devote themselves to sports practice in a context of relaxation or recess.

There could be exceptions at the level of young persons who would pass of an entertaining activity to a competition as part of the Games of Quebec, eg: a young person who plays tennis of table of entertaining form in the school and who decides to register in the regional Games of Quebec.

High level
This element contacts the athletes who are at a more well brought up level of performance and who participate in the Final of the Jeux du Québec. Detection of talent and possible progression towards the excellence (in most cases the identified athletes hope or relay).
